Here are our angels for adoption.

UPDATED Dec 30, 2004  - 39 birds adopted this year!! 5 birds looking for a new home. We have many birds that are in need of good homes.  Are you able to offer help to any of these birds?     Sorry we are unable to post their pictures on this page as we have limited bandwidth.                 

Please note that we will not adopt outside of Ontario at this time.

Green Cheek Conure - We have a very sweet 1.5 yr old DNA sexed female.  She is very sweet.  Loves to ride around on your shoulder.  She is very playful and is talking.   Her favorite spot is to snuggle up in your hair and sit for hours at a time. Adopted!

Eclectus - We have a very sweet 1 yr old male Red Sided Eclectus available for adoption.  You can see his picture on our residents page as well as read his story.  He is very tame, friendly and talking LOTS! He is one of the smartest birds I have ever met.  He imitates the other birds and talks and learns daily.  Adopted!

Quaker - We have a very funny 4 yr old female Quaker available for adoption she is wonderfully funny and very full of spunk.  She dances and laughs and is talking.  Adopted!

Nanday Conure - Bill is a sweet little guy that is quite tame and loves to snuggle and ride around on my shoulder.  He will fly and land on my finger when he wants.  He will require a little time to buildup some trust as he doesn't always want to step up when asked.  He loves to have his head scratched. For a conure he is not too loud but that could just be me.  Adopted!

Umbrella Cockatoo - Sydney is 15 years old and is a female Umbrella Cockatoo.  She has been with her original owner this whole time.  Anyone wishing to adopt Sydney will be given a home inspection by her owner.  She is a wonderful bird and has a beautiful cage with a play stand on top.  Adoption fee will be by donation.  Sydney is still available.  The owners are trying to find a place that will allow them to visit Syndey and previous experience is a must.  Adopted!

Cockatiel -Coco is an 11 yr old hand tame cockatiel.  He talks and loves to play.  He needs a home immediately.  Previous owner has passed away.  Adoption fee will be by donation.  Adopted!

Severe Macaw - Bart the 5 yr old Severe Macaw has found a wonderful home.  He is adjusting nicely to his new surroundings. Adopted!

Goffin Cocktoo's -  Male and Female Goffin 2-3 yrs old.  Male is missing a couple of toes due to an accident and plucks his head.  We believe the plucking is due to other birds in his present surroundings.  These are siblings and will need cages.  The owner would like these to birds kept together but they must be placed in seperate cages.  Adoption fee will be by donation. Adopted!

Cockatiel - Female cockatiel 6 months old.   Owner has requested help in finding a suitable home for this bird.  Adopted!

Zebra Finches - Three available, they were breeders at one time so there is a male and female and a baby. Adopted!

Society Finch - One available less than 1 yr old.  Adopted!

Indian Ring Neck -  Jelly Bean is a beautiful Indian Ringneck she is yellow and has a wonderful singing voice.  She also talks a little she says I love you.  She needs to be placed in a house where she will be able to free fly.  She has plucked her back due to being locked in a cage for a few weeks which was very upsetting to her.  She likes to sit on the top of her cage and will occassionally come to visit you by landing on your head.  She has a big appetite and will pretty much anything that is offered to her.  Someone will be very lucky to take this little lady home. Adopted! 

Sammy the White Capped Pionus - Unknow sex approximately 4 yrs old available for immediate adoption.  Would do well with someone home all day where he can have out of cage time.  He has been plucking due to not being allowed out of his cage for more than an hour a week.   He does not step up but does love to cuddle.  He will require some patience and lots of cuddle time.  He requires softer toys such as leather, pine and cotton.  Adopted!

Fred the Blue Crown Conure - Fred is possibly a 20 yr old Blue Crown Conure he and Freddy are cage mates and have been together for several years.  He is a DNA sexed male.  Adopted! 

Nippy the Jenday Conure - Nippy is a 10 yr old DNA sexed male Conure.  He is playful and happy.  I would like to see Nippy and Freddy go to a loving home together.  They  don't do well when separated.  So whoever adopts these guys must know it is a package deal!  They will step up and like to play on top of their cage.  They will take food out of my hand.  Nippy has over preened Fred  so he has a couple of bald patches.  But that sure doesn't take away from his beauty and attitude!  When they are separated they will cry for each other.  Adopted!

Lemonade and Sahara the Love birds - Both are under a year old.  Sahara is a female.  We are unsure of the sex of Lemonade.  They are two of the most pretty Love Birds I have seen.  They both have unusual coloring.  Adopted! 

Molson the Orange Wing Amazon - Molson is a great little guy.  He loves to be at the center of activity.  He is very shy and does not like to be handled.  He does love to sit and look out the window and play with his toys.   Adopted!  Molson and Zowie have gone to a nice home with a woman that used to breed birds.  We can't wait to hear how well they are doing in their new home!

Zowie the Grey Cockatiel - Zowie is 8 yrs old and loves to whistle.  She can whistle the Andy Griffin theme and Bridge over the River Quay. She also just taught herself the Darien Lake Theme song.  She surprises us everyday as she is still picking up on songs and words.  Adopted!

Kiwi the Love Bird - Kiwi is a 4 yr old female Peachfaced Lovebird.  She has quite the vocabulary for such a small little lady.  She likes to ride around on everyones head and spend as little time in her cage as she possibly can.  We always find her visiting all her friends here.  Adopted!  Kiwi is now a resident of Bellville with her new Poppa who is very happy to have her sitting on his shoulder and saying pretty bird!

Buddy is a Umbrella Cockatoo - who is in good feather.  He does not know how to step up but we are working on him.  (**Update Buddy now steps up and likes to dance!)  Adopted!  Buddy is now living at an Aviary in Mississauga with Dave Longo. 

BEAU  and an unnamed Lovie - Beau is now Shrek and has been adopted by a nice family from Peterborough along the unnamed Lovebird that is now Fiona.  Adopted!  We wish Shrek and Fiona a happy life in their new home!
